This 2 day brake press training program teaches participants the many aspects of mechanical and hydraulic brake presses. They will understand the safety aspects, components of the machines, their functions and how they operate, safe operation techniques, proper methods for set up, and how to make good parts. An important aspect of this training is that each participant will be tested for his or her understanding of the content of the program. This program complies to the requirements set out in CSA Z142-02.

Some time will be spent on the shop floor discussing and demonstrating some of the key elements of the theory portion.
This program is conducted over two days either consecutively or over a two-week period. It can also be conducted in half-day increments.
This program complies with the training requirements set out in CSA Z 142-10.
The maximum number of participants is 15 people.
New operators, health and safety committee members, supervisors and maintenance/toolroom people can all benefit from this program. Each participant will receive course material and a certificate of participation.
